Edgery Doo

I finally got an Edgery Doo. Then it sat in it's box for a couple of months before I decided what to do with it. I was in Hobby Lobby on Monday and they had a piece of fleece on the clearance/remnants cart. I thought the tag said 1/2 yd but once I got it home and looked a little closer it said 1/4 yd. Fortunately it was just over 12 in. wide. I had enough to cut 4 squares using the 12 in. template. (I ordered the 12 and 6 in. templates.) This is what I came up with. It doesn't look too bad considering it's my first. Also, it's the first time I've joined squares and the first time I've done a shell border. It measures 26 x 26 inches and will be added to my box for NICU babies.

  1. I had no idea what a Edgery Doo was and just looked it up on google. Very nifty little template. I love your project. I wonder if you can use it to piece together quilted blocks or make on and then quilt it later.
