It is charity weekend over at Crochetville. I am working on a couple of preemie sized blankets. This one I started yesterday evening and finished up this morning. I should have just enough yarn left over to make a hat to match.
The pattern I used was free from Lion Brand's website called Crochet V-Stitch Blankie. I did not do the border it called for.
oh that is so cute! I want to make some stuff for charity too, I think its a great idea, gives you a way to continue crocheting obsessively and help others! I really admire all of you who use your craft for helping and comforting others!
ReplyDeleteIts beautiful..Where is it going?
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Last spring I made some blankets, booties and hats for charit too (I published the blanket, do you remember?) for a group who cares about babies in the Hospitals. It's a great experience :)
ReplyDeleteCrochet baby blankets are the best! I still have the one my mom made for me... I hope this one is treasured by it's baby, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the comments. I will be making baby blankets to donate for NICU babies.
ReplyDeletepretty !
ReplyDeletewhat stitch is it ?
I edited my original post to list pattern and pattern location. It's all v-stitches except for one dc as first and last stitch of each row.
