Crochet Gift - Wash Cloth

Not posted for a while as the day job means that my eyes are rather tired in the evening to see my crochet too well, however this week I have made a 100% cotton yarn wash cloth as part of a present for my friend next weekend.  I added a little flower in the far corner as well.
I made it using:
4mm crochet hook
Double knit cotton yarn
40 chains foundation row
Half treble stitch ( I think)
Kept going until I had a square.
I am still learning how to create items with this skill and at last my tension seems to have sorted itself out and the sides are so much straighter than they used to be!
My future aim is to make something simple that I could wear.
More practice needed first.

Crochet Rag Rug Inspirations, Patterns and How to’s

Well as I’m busy waiting for lots new yarn to arrive I decided to start a new rag rug project that I think is going to be rather large. I’m not sure how long it will take to complete but I am going to work on it for at least 2 hours everyday.

In the meantime I thought I would share a few resources with you.
