Knowing full well that one can never have too many totes....ahem
....and seeing this gorgeous, gorgeous pattern in my favorite magazine: Crochet today!
I got to work using I Love This Yarn in turquoise and an I hook. The stitch pattern is so easy & it worked up so quickly!
I added a fabric liner that was reinforced with Craft-Fuse (yes, this tote needs to be sturdy enough to hold the kitchen sink because it seems my purse easily becomes a catch-all for everything & everyone!)
Absolutely lovely and the end result looks sooooo professional
ReplyDeleteAmazing it looks like store purchased.

ReplyDeleteCaz from Never Knew
How lovely! I love that you put on the metal feet. That will really save the bottom from getting all dirty when you set it down.
ReplyDeleteHi, What a beautiful purse. You did such a great job on it. Love your matching lining and the flower is perfect!
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI just made this bag last week and you simply MUST line it to have it keep it's shape! If you don't, it flops and looks awful. I used blue for the bag and gray to sc the pieces together as well as for the handles, but I like the look of yours with store-bought handles, so I'm going to change them. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteYou are a master of the crochet, theres no person in the entire internet who can match you skill and elegance.
