Help with Labels?

I'm in need of some fabric labels for my sewing projects  (I have a ton of labels for my crocheted projects, but none for my sewing projects...and I can't afford to spend almost $300 USD on labels right now...that's what I paid for the embroidered crochet project labels 2 years ago).  I don't have an embroidery machine, nor can I do hand embroidery.  I've tried the printable fabric, but the ink tends to wash out of the labels, so this route just doesn't work well for me.

Is there anyone out there who can offer me some suggestions?  Anyone out there know how to make labels that I could hire you to make some for me???  Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

  1. I found this link online:

It tells you how to make your own, using iron-on transfers. Maybe that works better than printable fabric?

  6. I also asked a fellow stuffed animal maker, and she pointed me to a custom etsy-shop...
