Finally I have once again held a crochet hook in my hand!!!!! I have spent this weekend making a pair of Mary Jane booties for my friend Nanette's brand new granddaughter Pipper. We were worried Pipper would never make it as her mother was having great difficulties with the pregnancy. (something to do with the placenta starting to grow into the lining of the uterus?) Can't remember what it was exactly but it was at one point life threatening to both mother and child. Anyhooo the little one and mother are well, just born a little premature.
I have quite a few babies to crochet for this year. Friends are also expecting their first in May and a work colleauge is pregnant and due in September!
Here is a photo of Pipper's new shoes.
They are really beautiful and lovely photos too

Hi and Congratulations! What a sweet couple you two make. Pretty blue and white wedding; oooh, the cupcakes look yummy. Pipper is a lucky girl, those MJ's look so darling. I prefer crocheting for others over myself (for some reason I haven't figured out yet) so you are blessed to have others to crochet for!
