Crocheted Ipad Cozy
Could not resist to crochet a cover for my new iPad. I always want to dress up everything I own in crochet :)
I crocheted the cozy in two pieces. Crochet double crochet(dc) around the edge. And leave holes where all the buttons and sockets are. Sew the two pieces together.
I pinned the pieces to the right shape with needles and sprayed a little water on them so they could be formed easily.
If you are curious about more of the steps of making this. There are more images on my blog at www.hellocraftlovers.com
Kind Regards

Dolly A New Granny Square Blanket
Here is my latest creation Dolly – named after the dolly mixture sweets that the colours remind me of. The blanket is 60” square and available in my Etsy store. I will be writing and releasing the pattern in the coming days.
I do hope you love it as much as I do

A Portrait of the Past (Wisconsin)
My parents have a book titled "Portraits of the Past: A Photographic Journey Through Wisconsin". I was looking through it not too long ago when I came across a neat photo and description... Just wanted to share this with you...
Here's what the description reads under the photo...
"...in the early 1900's was this kind of feminine gathering. Charles Van Schaick photographed his wife, Ida (standing), entertaining the members of the DMC club in her wind-protected backyard. Nettie Lake had named the group after a brand of French crochet cotton used in fancy patterns, and though the ladies insisted the letters stood for "Damn Mean Crowd," no one watching them daintily sipping tea and lemonade and nibbling cookies would believe it."

Help with Labels?
I'm in need of some fabric labels for my sewing projects (I have a ton of labels for my crocheted projects, but none for my sewing projects...and I can't afford to spend almost $300 USD on labels right now...that's what I paid for the embroidered crochet project labels 2 years ago). I don't have an embroidery machine, nor can I do hand embroidery. I've tried the printable fabric, but the ink tends to wash out of the labels, so this route just doesn't work well for me.
Is there anyone out there who can offer me some suggestions? Anyone out there know how to make labels that I could hire you to make some for me??? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
