My first sucessful Chevron Crochet

Hi all,
I hope all the warm weather and weeds in the garden hasn't destracted you from your crochet projects. I thought I would post a picture of a dolls blanket I have just finished for my cousin. It's my first sucessful chevron project that actually has straight edges rather than stepped ones previously completed. I am re-learning stitches as it's been a while since i did any crochet or knitting and I am really enjoying it. I find it so calming.

  5. Why did you wad it up to take a picture?? I want to see it spread out! I'm sure it's pretty with those great colors.

  7. What a beautiful blanket! I really like your choice of colors! I feel the same way about crocheting...I'm just now trying to teach myself to knit so maybe one day I can say the same for it! Can't wait to see your next project!

  8. Thanks for your kind comments. I'm mixing wool colours to decide what to do for my next project. Why is there never enough of the one colour you want in your stash when you want it!!

Perhaps you are all right, I should have taken the picture of the blanket flat. It would have illustrated it better. However being a photographer also, I was looking for depth within the image. I will know better next time. Happy crafting.
