crochet patterns :: cotton cloths

About a year ago I kicked the paper towel habit. All the spills, messes, and clean-ups that happen everyday no longer end up in the trash (and landfill), but in the sink or laundry basket for a quick wash and reuse. I've made cleaning cloths from various materials (mostly by cutting up a couple of thrift store towels and zig-zagging the edges) but myfavorite ones are knitted or crocheted from simple cotton yarn.

I posted my simple patterns for these cloths on my blog.

  1. Hi Rachel,
    Such neat crochet. They seem too good to use as dish cloths. I don't think I could bring myself to use them once I had put in all that work.

  4. Good morning crochet sister! Just found your blog and I'm so excited to start following. Dishcloths are so much fun on the road, watching T.V. or just hanging out. We love these cloths and so do all of our friends and family, once your hooked...you never want store bought again! So green too!!
