Watermelons in February

It's snowy outside so why not crochet some watermelon slices.  The two half slices are potholders and the whole slice is a dish cloth - the little scrubbie is my invention.  They were done with Lilly's Sugar 'n Cream and the patterns can be found in Leisure Arts Kitchen Basics in Cotton.  They were fun to do while watching the snow fall and thinking about summer!

  5. What great colour combinations. Nature really has an eye for colours and textures and you have captured them really well in this project. I have awoke to another sprinkling of snow. It has been on and off since mid December and I think enough is enough now. So I have bought lots of spring flowers and put them in my kitchen. Perhaps I nees some watermelon pot holders too.
