patchwork scarf

.
Now that I finally get how to do tunisian entrelac, I decided to put some Patons Satin Crimson & Snow to use and make a patchwork scarf.
.

.
I used an H hook -- and yes, tucking in those ends did get tedious -- but it made for some mindless handwork while watching tv.
.

The edges curled fiercely until I added the triangular block to the edge. And then after steam blocking it --- oh my. It is one of the softest things.
.

This booklet was key in helping me understand the whole concept of constructing the entrelac blocks.
.
.
Whew. Just think of the endless possibilities of color combinations you could make......

  2. I have always wanted to try this but have been afraid it is beyond my abilities. Someday in the future though I will give it a whirl. Yours is just too perfect for words.

  4. WOW, looks very involved. Not sure I have the patience for all those ends.

    Love the look though.

Trying today to visit all the followers on Sandy's Space, don't know if I'll make it; but am trying.

  5. I just tried Entrelac this week, after receiving my "A TO Z" book from Pammy Sue. It was so much fun, but I wasn't sure how to finish off the sides. I was thinking it would make a neat-looking scarf, and VOILA, there it is, in my favorite red and white! AWESOME!!! I'll have to check out out to make the side triangles. Keri
