I recently crocheted this duo for a Ravelry swap.
The patterns for these are not meant to be matching sets,
but I had enough cotton to make both of them
and put them together as a set.
The Striped Cotton Dishtowel pattern has a finished edge using
a reverse single crochet stitch, giving it a real nice and unique edging.
I used the Lion Brand kitchen cotton for these two projects.

Pretty flower embellishment, i've never made any crocheted dishcloths/towels but they do look very appealing.
ReplyDeleteLovely. What a happy set.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful set...almost to pretty to use!
ReplyDeleteThank you all! I can never keep any of the towels or wash/dish cloths that I make because I am always afraid of ruining them by using them, so I always just give them away as gifts instead. LOL!
ReplyDeleteDishcloths and towels are extremely easy to crochet and are a great starter project for anyone learning how to crochet as they work up real quick if you pick a simple pattern.
Just to try myself also these things. Very nice.
